Officials of Overtime Sports in association with Polk’s Meats, Mississippi Braves and Bass Pro announce the first annual Bass Pro Mississippi “Q”.  The contest will take place on April 11th & 12th at the Bass Pro located in Pearl,MS. just off of Interstate 20 and will serve as part of the Governor’s Cup kickoff weekend (Ole Miss vs Mississippi State - Baseball game).

The cookoff is a sanctioned event with the Memphis BBQ Network (MBN) and the winner will qualify for the Memphis in May World BBQ.  All local and regional participants are welcome to participate and attend; all are welcome large or small, professional or amateur, five categories available to choose from.

Contests, games and live entertainment with Friday night fireworks presentation will follow the Braves baseball game.

Prize money will be awarded to finalists!
