|Mid-Winter Conference 2017|
The annual Mid-Winter Conference returns to the Hilton Jackson on County Line Road Jan. 26-28, 2017. The annual sales and business conference for newspaper media will focus on print and digital revenue streams, as well as round table discussions on best design practices and weekly newspaper management topics.
Sales specialist Diane Ciotta will be the conference keynote presenter.
The honoree for the annual Celebrity Roast is longtime artist, author and broadcaster Marshall Ramsey. A native of Georgia, Ramsey is editorial cartoonist for The Clarion-Ledger and an honors graduate of the University of Tennessee. A two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Ramsey is also a host for Mississippi Public Broadcasting and MPB Think Radio.
Friday evening's Mississippi Made reception will feature a variety of exhibitors of art and food products made and marketed here in the Magnolia State.
The conference will culminate Saturday, Jan. 28, with the presentation of the 2016 Better Newspaper Contest Advertising Division Awards.
After Jan. 20, attendees must register on-site and pay an additional $15 late fee.
