Digital Advertising Sales

The successful candidate for this position will generate advertising revenue from the Hattiesburg American’s digital products and services. Champion product offerings (including newspaper online and mobile sites, digital newsletters, text messaging) to the rapidly growing online and mobile sales marketplaces. Inform and educate colleagues around the newspaper about the latest innovative product offerings.
Requirements
4+ years of commissioned business-to-business sales experience, digital advertising experience preferred
Understanding of the digital advertising arena and have strong sales ability and proven background in solution and value selling to clients.
An understanding of online social media/marketing/networking
Highly entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and able to work independently to successfully grow and foster long term internal and client relationships.
Microsoft Office and Internet proficiency;
Proven experience in managing multiple projects, details and deadlines
Design, develop and fulfill online campaigns and promotions for digital advertisers
Excellent communication, questioning, listening, presentation and negotiating skills
Experience working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, team environment
Must have the ability to monitor market conditions and trends and craft advertising campaigns that meet client’s needs
Must have a good driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
