Energetic reporter and page designer needed.

Can you conjugate a verb? Can you avoid the passive voice and not throw around apostrophes like Frisbees? If so, this 10,000 circulation southwestern Mississippi daily wants you.

This position also requires frequent page layout, including pinch-hitting for our sports editor at least once a week, and doing some periodic magazine layout. Quark experience is preferred, though applicants who have used InDesign will be considered.

Degree in Journalism or related field required. Newspaper experience preferred. Good benefit package (health/401K).
McComb is centrally located between Jackson, Natchez and Hattiesburg, Miss., and New Orleans and Baton Rouge, La.
