Journal Inc. is seeking a community-minded leader for the Monroe Journal, a weekly newspaper based in Amory, Miss. As general manager this person will be responsible for all facets of the operation and should have the experience and ability to take a good community newspaper to the next level in news content, readership and revenue. We’re not looking for someone who’s just passing through; we need a leader who will make a multi-year commitment to the community and our company. Journal Inc. publishes the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal and seven weekly newspapers and operates six Web sites. We’re a company committed to community building and confident in the future of community newspapers.
