26-year-old, 10-year veteran of print media production seeks position with weekly or daily newspaper somewhere along the I-10 area of New Orleans/Gulfport/Mobile. Relocating from Oklahoma for family and economic reasons. College education in communications and graphic design. Experience in general pagination, special publication planning and production, advertising production, and department management. I am a hard worker with lots of experience, and I don’t miss deadlines! Acclaimed ad and page designer with lots of portfolio samples. Have worked with newspapers of all sizes, magazines both regional and national. Expert with all technical processes and programs such as Quark, Adobe CS3, MS Office, etc. Hoping to secure a job and move within 90 days, but can gladly come much sooner for the right opportunity.
