The Demopolis Times, a growing daily newspaper in Marengo County, Ala., is looking for a reporter with excellent writing skills and an interest in
telling compelling stories. A reporter is responsible for covering a myriad
of community events; from city council to county government to schools with a wide range of writing opportunities in terms of format: hard news,
features, sports, etc.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent journalism graduates to launch
their career or a general assignment reporter to make take a step to the
next level.
A working knowledge of QuarkXPress and Photoshop are preferred.
