Ad Manager, Scott County Times, Forest, MS
The Scott County Times, a community newspaper in east central Mississippi, is seeking an advertising manager who can hit the ground running. The Scott County Times has been serving the community since 1939 and has a tradition of excellence and community service. Located in Forest, Mississippi, the position is well-centered between Jackson and Meridian along I-20. The right person for the job will be a highly motivated salesperson who can take the lead on sales while leading a small ad staff in selling the newspaper, the internet and other niche products.
Compensation will be between $35-$40,000 annually. A background in print sales is a definite plus as is some level of previous management experience. The Scott County Times is part of Emmerich Newspapers, a family-owned Mississippi newspaper group, which offers advancement opportunities to the right person.
