The Commercial Dispatch, a locally owned daily (15,000 circ.), is searching for a managing editor to inspire and guide our young staff. We are seeking a committed journalist, who will engage with the community and who is passionate about the role a newspaper plays in its development. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, an appreciation for good design and a proven record as a manager. If you are an imaginative, energetic leader, who appreciates the pleasures of small town living, this may be the job for you. The Columbus area offers two universities, a nearby Air Force base, an exploding economy and a vibrant music, theater and arts scene.
