General Manager, South Mississippi
A weekly newspaper in South Mississippi, is looking for a general manager. The general manager will be responsible for directing, administering and coordinating overall weekly operation. The ideal candidate must be motivated, ambitious and customer oriented with previous management experience.
Primary responsibilities include: Responsible for editorial leadership; Responsible for sales development in order to increase advertising market share; Responsible to ensure circulation sales plans are designed to increase household penetration and readership, as well as retention efforts; Provide leadership to ensure extraordinary support and customer service, including providing timely decision making and effective implementation of plans.
