Governor Barbour signed the incident report bill Tuesday and it will become law July 1. It means basic information on police incident reports will be public record. The bill is an important strengthening of the public records laws in Mississippi, but is only a start and doesn’t go far enough.

Beef stink causes worry in N.C.
