Wednesday, February 20th, 2008“This is so over the top,” exclaimed State Farm attorney Sheila Birnbaum via email Tuesday. “Can we ask that [Attorney General Jim Hood] be held in contempt of court for misrepresenting a settlement agreement and order of the court.”
Trouble is, Birnbaum sent the email to a listserv that included several AP reporters, as well as scribes for daily and weekly newspapers in the state, not to to the group of colleagues she intended. Whoops.
