Drunken doc press shy after chase
A 45-year-old Gautier general practitioner, suspected of drunk driving, led coast authorities on a chase Sunday that at times reportedly reached 130+ mph and only ended after a spike strip blew out the tire of his Mercedes. He had only one question for a Sun Herald reporter who later quizzed him for comment: “Does this have to be in the paper?“
