Volunteers Publish Own Newspaper
From the Los Angeles Times: “For nearly a decade, Atwater [MN] had no newspaper. The only way for the town’s 1,047 residents to find out about fires, summer festivals and the latest births was to eavesdrop on conversations at Vern’s Town and Country grocery store.”
That’s changed now that a group of volunteers has come together to publish The Sunfish Gazette.
