Paper: City Dragging Its Feet on Settlement
Two months have passed since The Clarion-Ledger filed suit against the City of Jackson over public records request. Now the paper is growing impatient for a settlement and is asking a judge to resolve the matter. City Council president Ben Allen says he wants it settled, too, so they can put the public records “silliness” behind them.
